Exchanges and Returns Policy
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Our remedy is limited to a repair or replacement of the defective item.
Since 1985, Baby Paws Australia Pty Ltd (Baby Paws) has been committed to providing the highest possible standards of Quality and Service to our many customers worldwide.
Because each pair of shoes goes through a rigorous quality assurance procedure before leaving our premises, we are fortunate enough to have very few defective items returned to us.
Product Exchanges can only be made on goods supplied direct to you from Baby Paws Australia through a sale made on www.babypaws.com
We cannot exchange product purchased from Retail Stockists or other on-line sellers.
Such requests for exchanges and returns should be directed to the place of purchase.
Please note that whilst it is our aim to please all our customers, we cannot accept cancellations, or give refunds, simply because you have changed your mind about your purchase, or made an error in placing your order.
All advice or suggestions we may give regarding suitability, size, fit or otherwise is given in good faith and free of liability for costs incurred by you for any subsequent return or exchange of items. Particular care should be taken when establishing the correct size shoe for the child's foot. It is normally safer to order a size larger if there is any doubt.
Special care should be taken at the checkout to ensure that the correct size and colour have been ordered. Our default size is a Size 0.
Size 0 shoes are custom made and cannot be exchanged.
It is essential that items returned for exchange (other than defects) are received in their original saleable condition.
Worn, scuffed or creased shoes cannot be accepted for exchange, as we cannot offer them for sale to our customers.
In the unlikely event of you receiving an incorrect or a defective item, we will repair or replace it immediately upon receipt of the returned item provided that you have first obtained a written Exchange Authorization Number from Baby Paws.
This exchange will be made at no cost to you provided that we are satisfied that the error is the fault of Baby Paws, and the product has been returned in accordance with our instructions.
A return for defect will be examined to establish that it is as a direct result of a genuine manufacturing or material defect, and is not damaged through fair wear and tear.
Where the exchange request is made as a result of an error made by you, or because you wish to exchange for some other reason, then the exchange will attract a $7.70 fee which includes the cost of posting the exchange to you.Postage outside Australia will attract the relevant Australia Post international postage charge. You agree that these charges will be processed by way of a charge by us to your credit card.
If you have paid for your purchase through PayPal, we will send an invoice to you for the return amount.
Payment must be made through a Personal payment in PayPal, or a Direct Deposit into our bank account.
The original invoice number must be quoted as the payment reference.
We will process the exchange request once payment is received by us.
We will proceed with the exchange upon receipt of the returned item provided that you have first obtained an Exchange Authorization Number from Baby Paws, and the product has been returned in accordance with our instructions, and is in a saleable condition.
Please do not send cash or any other form of payment with the item being returned.
Your request for an exchange or return must reach us within 21 days of the order having originally been invoiced by Baby Paws.
The request for exchange or return can be made by email, fax or letter, and should contain the following information:
Your name and address.
Your telephone number and email address.
The Baby Paws Invoice Number and Date.
Description of items to be returned, and the reason for the return.
Please note that we cannot telephone customers outside Australia, so it is important that International customers include a correct email address.
Once you have received your Exchange Authorisation Number, the product must be returned in secure, protective packaging to:
